Skin treatment prescription products are designed to help with dog’s dietary sensitivity. Dietary sensitivity is caused by allergic reaction from mistaking protein for foreign substance. This is why it is important to prevent mistaking protein for foreign substance. Dr.Healmedix products for skin treatment use hydrolyzed protein sources below 10,000 daltons to help reduce dietary allergies for your dog. * Since younger or older dogs have relatively low digestion rate, feeding pre-hydrolyzed protein may increase digestive absorption.

This product contains various moisturizing ingredients to keep moisture in pet’s coat. Also, Silicon-coated shampoos may help maintain moisture longer, but also can irritate skin. Thus, Dr.Micochlodine Shampoo do not contain silicon and this may help treat skin disease faster and enhance coat health in the longer term. If you are concerned about dry coats, we recommend using PRUNUS Natural Herb Shampoo along with shampoo with natural moisturizing ingredients after the skin disease is treated completely.

Generally medicated shampoos for pets do not lather up well. Because the medicated products are prioritized for treatment than sanitary maintenance by foam. If you wish to foam more, we recommend washing lightly with regular shampoo first and using Medicated Skin Clinic Shampoo for treatment.
